Well it’s that time of year again! It’s March. Spring and summer are just around the corner, and it’s time to get back into shape! After a long winter full of holiday foods, stressful family get-togethers, and attempting to keep your new year resolutions, I know it can be hard to find that motivation to get back and go to the gym, wake up early to do some yoga, or go out for a jog or walk in the evening. It’s not an easy thing. Getting fit and healthy is a big task, and anyone who tells you otherwise is just blinded by the fact that they’ve already done it. And good for them! They should be proud of themselves, and you should be too – every time you don’t hit snooze on your alarm, walk into the gym before or after work, or choose a salad for lunch instead of the burger and fries you really want, that’s cause to celebrate and give yourself a pat on the back. But for those mornings after late night homework or being up with a crying baby, or those nights after a long day at work when your couch sounds so much better than a treadmill, here are some motivational quotes to help you keep your goals, heath, fitness, and opportunities in mind.
Well it’s Monday night, so I know I’m a little late with today’s post, but here it is.
It’s a new year readers! That means new adventures, new chances, and new perspectives. Take a moment to think of a goal you want to achieve this year (a reasonable one), and feel the excitement as you picture yourself reaching it. Now think: it’s only January. You have an entire year to make some new dreams come true. So think positive and get productive! :)
This week, I want to focus our dose of motivation around believing in yourself and not giving up. This is something that I struggle with on a daily basis. And I think that a lot of others do as well. I feel like if we all just gave ourselves more credit and had more faith in ourselves, the things that seem so difficult might not be as hard as we’re making them out to be. The truth is that we can handle whatever we set our minds and our hearts to. We may not be able to handle everything in the traditional or expected ways, but if we have confidence and use our creativity, we can do a whole lot more with what we have.
So this week as you’re going about your lives, don’t doubt yourself. Don’t give up. Don’t belittle your strength. Have faith in yourself.
